Waxing
Treat wrinkles, discoloured skin and scars

Waxing is the process of hair removal from the root by using a covering of a sticky substance, such as wax to adhere to the body and then removing this, covering and pulling out the hair from the follicle. New hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for four to six weeks, although some people will see regrowth in only a week due to some of their hair being on a different human hair growth cycle. Almost any area of the body can be waxed including
- Eyebrows
- Face
- Pubic hair (bikini waxing or intimate waxing)
- Legs
- Arms
- Back
- Abdomen
- Chest
- Knuckles and feet
There are many types of waxing suitable for removing unwanted hair.
Why is waxing better than shaving?
There are many benefits to waxing versus other forms of hair removal. It is an effective method to remove large amounts of hair at one time. It is a long-lasting method. when hair is shaved or removed by depilatory cream, the hair is removed at the surface rather than the root. Within a few days, the hair can reappear back at the surface. With these methods, hair tends to grow back in a rough stubble. Areas that are repeatedly waxed over a long period often exhibit softer regrowth.

How often I should have waxing done?
It is a long-lasting method, as hair in waxed areas will not grow back for two to eight weeks.
